Martha Iwan, Reference Librarian and Book Discussion Leader, meets with the Seniors of My Second Home on Tuesdays at 11:00 AM at the Center on Radio Circle. Museum Passes

The Mount Kisco Public Library is offering family guest passes to the following museums:

The Aldrich Museum
Intrepid Air and Space Museum
Katonah Museum of Art
The Neuberger Museum
Stamford Museum
Maritime Center at Norwalk

In order to provide equal access for all Mount Kisco Public Library cardholders, the following policies for borrowing museum passes have been established by the Library Board of Trustees.

Family pass kits (usually for 2 adults and up to 4 children) are available to adult (18 or older) Mount Kisco Public Library cardholders in good standing. Pass kits will not be issued to any cardholder who owes fines for overdue or lost materials.

The loan period is 3 days, including 2 overnights. Pass kits must be returned to the Mount Kisco Public Library before closing on the 3rd day. Pass kits returned to any other library will result in a $30 fee due to delays in our receiving the kit. Pass kits must be returned inside the Library, at the Checkout Desk (not the bookdrop) or a $30 fine will be imposed. The tickets for the Katonah Museum of Art do not need to be returned as they are a one-time only ticket.

In order to allow everyone an opportunity to have the passes for the Intrepid Museum, we are limiting the lending period of passes to once a year per household. These passes are made possible through the generosity of the Library Foundation.

Mount Kisco Public Library cardholders may reserve a pass kit up to one month in advance by contacting the Checkout Desk in person or by telephone at (914) 666-8041.

Pass kits may not be renewed. Families and individuals may borrow only one pass kit at a time.

Late fees of $10 per day, up to the full cost of the pass kit, will be imposed for every day the pass kit (or any part thereof) is late. Replacement cost for lost pass kits is the full cost of the pass kit.

It is the borrower’s responsibility to confirm hours of operation, parking fees, etc.
